The World Sea surrounds the world and is reached by going outside the map borders when traveling in the River Vid or Slaeter´s Sea.

The only thing here is the Evil God Jormungandr, who has dozens of attacks per turn, does thousands of points of damage per hit, has hundreds of thousands of hit points, and instantly kills any player who attacks him directly.  It's possible to kill him with allied monsters, heat radiation, or wands of death, upon which he will simply generate a new body and continue attacking.

If the player wanders here, they might get one chance to go back the way they came, but two steps and they will becom lost and not be able to backtrack.  Leaving the edge of the map while "lost" gives you a small chance of returning to the place you entere the ocean.
